The minimalist design of this conceptual cottage, with his low visual impact, allows the building to integrate with different environments. Designed to be flexible and easy to maintain, this assembled cottage aims to satisfy the need for a more natural and sustainable living style. The materials and components used to build its elements are eco friendly, mainly recyclable, durable. IKARO can be easily disassembled and re-assembled in a new location. At the end of the life cycle, its metal elements can be reused or recycled, the interior bamboo fiber wall panels recycled as the insulating panels. IKARO can cope also with density issue, it can be organized in building clusters and expand the social complexity of the community, maintaining a low impact with a reduced footprint.
